2024 Spikey Bridge Chardonnay (six)

A small batch of hand-picked grapes from a 8 rows of a single block on our Estate Vineyard was selected for this limited release wine.  Gentle whole bunch pressing and wild ferment in a small French barrels highlight the purity and intensity of Chardonnay fruit.

Region: Relbia, Tamar Valley, Tasmania

Variety: Chardonnay

Colour: Pale golden straw

Aroma: White nectarine, ripe lemon and subtle macadamia nut

Palate: Concentrated and vibrant  with rich mid and a clean, vibrant finish with fresh natural acidity.

Serving Suggestion:  Crispy skin roast chicken or pan seared Tasmanian Blue-Eye Trevalla.

Alcohol: 13.5% alc

Palate: Complex and supple palate of wild raspberry with a hint of coffee.

Serving Suggestion: :  Lean game meats or wild mushroom tart.
